Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches

These indulgent Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches are crisp on the outside, creamy and sweet on the inside. Made with brioche, cream cheese, and fresh strawberries, they’re perfect for brunch or dessert and ready in just 25 minutes.

Ingredients
  

Filling:

  • 1 cup 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries finely diced

Sandwiches:

  • 8 slices brioche or thick white bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter or neutral oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Optional: whipped cream, ice cream, extra strawberries

Instructions
 

  • Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Fold in diced strawberries.
  • Spread filling on 4 slices of bread; top with remaining slices.
  • Whisk eggs and milk in a shallow bowl.
  • Heat butter/oil in skillet over medium heat.
  • Dip each sandwich in egg mixture, coat both sides.
  • Fry sandwiches 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  • Drain on paper towels.
  • Dust with powdered sugar and serve with optional toppings.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese for best mixing.
  • Pat strawberries dry to prevent soggy filling.
  • For extra crunch, dip sandwiches in panko before frying.
  • Great with lemon zest or mini chocolate chips added to filling.
  • Can be baked at 375°F for 12–15 minutes for a lighter version.
