Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cotton candy extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Pink and blue food coloring
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips optional
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles optional

Instructions
 

1️⃣ Prepare the Dough

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar together until creamy.
  • Add the cake mix, vanilla extract, cotton candy extract, and milk, mixing until a soft, smooth dough forms.

2️⃣ Color & Swirl the Dough

  • Divide the dough into two bowls.
  • Tint one portion pink and the other blue, using a few drops of food coloring in each.
  • Gently swirl them together—don’t overmix or the colors will blend completely!

3️⃣ Shape into Bites

  • Scoop small portions and roll into 1-inch balls.
  • Place on a parchment-lined baking tray.

4️⃣ Chill & Set

  • Refrigerate for 20 minutes until firm.

5️⃣ Decorate & Serve (Optional)

  • Drizzle with melted white chocolate and top with sprinkles for extra fun!

Notes

Heat-Treat the Cake Mix – To eliminate any bacteria, microwave the cake mix for 1 minute, stirring every 15 seconds, or bake it at 350°F for 5 minutes before using.
For Extra Fluffiness – Mix in 1 tablespoon of marshmallow fluff for a lighter, airier texture.
White Chocolate Drizzle – Melt 1/2 cup white chocolate chips and drizzle over the bites for a gourmet touch.
Swap the Flavors – Use strawberry, vanilla, or birthday cake extract instead of cotton candy for a different twist.
Make It Vegan – Swap butter for dairy-free butter and milk for almond or oat milk.
