Cookie Bar Dough:
- 1 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp cream of tartar
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
Topping:
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line or grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
Mix melted butter with sugars. Stir in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
Whisk dry ingredients separately, then fold into wet mixture until combined.
Spread dough evenly in the pan.
Mix topping sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over dough.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
Cool completely before cutting into bars.
